What you are seeing shouldn't happen. Norcat should skip just the sections you specify.

I can't help further unless you send me a zipfile of everything in C:\Norcat\Data and the single file C:\Norcat\Config.txt.

You're welcome. I've also added another update since then! You probably won't need it but I've added the capability to use the T2T Reference as part of the Section Structure and Product Description.

Whew. Two Updates in one day! I've just added the capability (V3.2.02) to use the 6 digit T2T Reference as part of the Section structure.

As a bonus I've also added the same capability to the Product Description.

Download the update from the usual place.

You do this by editing the Actinic Product Templates that Norcat uses. Look in your site folder for:- Norcat_CompactLine.html Norcat_CompactLine-NoImage.html Norcat_ProductLine.html Norcat_ProductLine-NoImage.html Edit all 4. Look for the lines:- <tr bgcolor="#d1dde9"> <td height=24 align=...

Is it possible to create a Special Offers section by Supplier or, by Dept, Type, Supplier ? You can use the "|" separator in those T2T notes entries to break the alternative location of a product into sub-sections. E.g. Instead of just [SPECIAL OFFERS] You can have one product with the No...

Re skipping on more than one criteria:- It was a good and sensible enough request that I've just added it to Norcat. Luckily it just took a bit of duplicating/renaming of existing code. Download the latest update and you'll now see two sets of Skip Sections in Norcat / Config. Set the second one's P...

Re skipping on more than one criteria:- I'm afraid you can't do it by Supplier as this isn't part of your section structure. All you can do is to exclude that suppliers products (in T2T) by adding an "X" into the Options field (usually Rem1 or Rem2). This will, of course, be tedious if you...

Assuming your normal (RRP) prices are in Sell1 and your discounted prices are in Sell3 then do this. 1) In Norcat / Config select Sell1 as MainPriceField and Sell3 as AltPriceField. This will mean that products will be priced at Sell1 UNLESS there's a non-zero value in Sell3 which will then override...

I'm afraid that's not possible. Of course colours with no stock get omitted, so if you really had to hide a particular colour you could set all its stock counts to zero but this may interfere with reporting / ordering, etc. Also there's an option to skip colours with no image (in Norcat / Config). T...

Better Style compatibility with Actinic

You're doing it OK. It's a bug. Fixed now in V3.1.98.

You can download from http://www.drillpine.biz/norcat/norcatupdate.zip

Just unzip it into your C:\Norcat folder.

What version of Actinic are you using?

Also I presume you mean the Product Weight field (by having a number in the REM1 field). Is that right?

Two things. 1) Make sure that the file C:\Norcat\Output\catalog.csv contains some lines beginning Product,..................... If so you definitely have generated some products. If there are no "Product,...." lines there then you've done something in Norcat that is restricting it from gen...

Hi Patrick, The relationship must be exact. I.e. if your prefix is "img" and your suffix is "-img" and your product reference is xzy123 then the only images that will be detected is imgxyz123-img.jpg or imgxyz123-img.gif If you leave the prefix and suffix empty then the appropria...
