I have these both installed to what i think is correct, I have created my own custom layout following the guide but the problem i get is that when i'm in actinic looking at the preview it works, but when i try an offline preview the images suddenly have jumped out of the tabber and are then located to the right hand side of the tabber.

I can't provide a URL link unfortunatly as i don't want it to go live until it's fixed.

Without being able to see the problem there's not much I can do. Why not put it on a single unimportant page?

If you're saying that you've got bits of the Multi Product Images add-on inside a tab, that may be asking too much of this add-on, which in its supplied form is intended for product description text only.

Try putting

<br clear="all" />

before the image list.

Also try putting the multi image stuff within a DIV or TABLE.
