Hi Norman,
Is it possible to have more than 6 extra images using your Dynamic Image add on?

Yes. You just need to create some more variables and amend the layout. Just a copy / paste and a bit of renaming exercise.
Without knowing exactly which patch you're asking about, it's a bit difficult to give fuller details.
If it's Multi Product Images, then this patch has an additional ReadMe called "IncreasingNumberOfImages.txt" since 1 month ago.
