Two pictures per row

I've noticed that the Extra images on the "Extra Image Table" layout are arranged at 3 images per row.
That is 3 images, then underneath another 3 and so forth.
I'm wondering if there is a way of altering the code inside the layout so that I have two images per row so that the standard width of the web page is maintained.
