Firefox not grabbing my fix point

Another automatic cascading menu for Actinic 5 onwards. This one allows more modern DHTML effects.

Firefox not grabbing my fix point

Post by fairycakes »

Hi

I have placed the norcascade menu via an "Anchor" link however this is completely ignored in firefox and the menu simply sits at the top of the page.

Is there anyway to fix this so its sits nicely as it does in i.e

http://speedy.bpweb.net

(actnic menu style is also not picking up....)

Thanks for any help.

Change your anchor from

<A name=prod>

to

<A name=prod id=prod>

(It's the ID tag we're really looking for - Netscape does not set missing ID tags to match NAME ones - IE does).

Hi

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly - this has kinda sorted it but now my menu is sitting beside and over some of my menu.

Any ideas?

Your page isn't rendering correctly in Firefox.

Probably CSS or broken tables.

Once you've got Firefox and IE looking the same, the menu should fall into place.

It's the style sheet

Hi Norman

It's the stylesheet - hence my broken actinic menu - totally stuck on this one.. no idea why my menu bg's aren't appearing in firefox.

Thanks again for your time.
