Accordion Questions

Post by demonloop »

I like the look of the Accordion Menu, does anyone know if
a) it works with all the themes on v9
b) can the colour etc be customised
c) can more than one lot of sub-sections be kept open at one time, i.e. each one stays open until its clicked closed (Normans examples don't do this; when you open a new one the previous one closes)

1) It will work with any Theme. If you mean will it automatically switch colours to match those used in the Theme then no. You have to do that separately.

2) Yes. By tweaking a small CSS file and setting some Variables. Instructions on doing this are provided.

3) Possibly. See www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ddaccordion.htm for details.

If you email me name and address details, I'll send a PDF invoice that you can pay by PayPal or bank transfer. When payment is in I'll send the patch.

I don't know of any easy way to do this. CSS seems to lacking an a:current type selector.

All it does by default is make the current page link bold. See the last 3 lines of the CSS.

I see no CSS classes for the current pages links in the generated HTML. Are you sure you imported the Partial Site Design Snapshot "AccordionMenu.acd" from the Zipfile I sent yesterday?
